An engaging story - I was charmed, moved, and interested from the opening page.

I always loved reading and hearing about Alex. This book discribed how the author began studying birds and got Alex. I enjoyed listening to this book on CD.

Reading about Alex was a fascinating experience, marred only by the disorganized way the author chose to journey through the bird's life. It's still a good read, though.
